
This is a quickie, but I had to come by and announce that I did it!! I finished Week 1 Day 1 of Couch to 5K! I feel so accomplished! It was not easy and I thought about stopping once or twice but I did it! I'm feeling pretty good today, not too sore. Today is a cross-training day so I'll probably bike and do light weights. Tomorrow I will tackle day 2. Thanks to everyone for your support and words of encouragement, it really helped me out this past week. I'm ready to do this thing!! I know I have a long way to go, but I feel strong and ready!

The first step is the hardest and you made it through it. Congratulations on that. Keep going, it'll get easier once you get in a routine!

Remember to hold on to that feeling of accomplishment. When you feel like you can't do it. Just think about how great you will feel and I know you will complete your goals.
Congratulations. I agree with Mike and Amanda. Hold onto to that accomplishment and draw from it in the future. Once you can get into a regular routine you may very well be surprised at the amount of progress you can make.
